Camp to Belong

June 16-21, 2019

Camp To Belong - Georgia, a local chapter of a national non-profit organization, provides a free week of summer campdesigned specifically for siblings between the ages of 8-18, living separately in foster, adoptive, or other out-of-home care.  Youth must attend with a sibling they are currently separated from.  Since 2008, sibling groups from all over Georgia have been coming to Camp To Belong to bond and create happy childhood memories.  Transportation is provided by bus from locations throughout north, central and southern Georgia to a partner facility, Camp Twin Lakes in Warm Springs, Georgia.   Together, brothers and sisters experience traditional camp activities as well as unique activities specifically designed for Camp To Belong and meant to focus on the special and enduring sibling connection.

Camp To Belong – Georgia is now accepting applications for this year’s summer camp. Camp will be held from June 16-21, 2019.  Additional information as well as camper applications are available now on the Camp To Belong - Georgia website at  Camp space is limited to 80, so please do not delay your application if you feel you have a sibling group who would benefit from this experience.DFCS Case Managers can reply to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with contact information of foster families, CASA’s, etc. who may be able to assist with the application process of eligible youth.  Camp To Belong – Georgia will coordinate the effort to help ensure an opportunity for the siblings to participate.
